Biography[]

Cookie first appears in the fourth episode, in which she allows her daughter to invite Lindsay Weir to the Kelly home, since Lindsay has enough with the way Kim treats her by not being allowed to get to learn about the Kelly family, unlike how Kim gets to know Lindsay's family. Cookie and her husband welcomes them to family lunch. Kim tells Lindsay that the former needs to bring home someone better than the rest of her Freak friends to prove to her parents that she isn't a loser. In other words, Kim lies to her parents that Lindsay owns a richer house, and she is with a normal family and friends, rather than with the Weir family. Cookie calls out on Kim's deception. As a result, the dinner turns into a massive dramatic fight, causing the girls to run away from Kim's emotionally unstable or raging parents and Lindsay taking the key from Mr. Kelly for Kim to drive herself and Lindsay away, in her family's stolen car, from the Kelly home.

During dinner night at Lindsay's house, Cookie calls and upsets Lindsay's mother about Kim and Lindsay bailing out on the Kelly family dinner. Despite that, Cookie tries to make up with Kim to forget about the whole incident to convince her to move back into the Kelly home. Kim painfully accepts Cookie's offer.

Cookie last appears in the tenth episode. Lindsay and Kim Kelly both go hitchhiking, and this is reported to Lindsay's father. As a result, they ask to meet Kim's mom, and have dinner with her. After this, they get the impression that her mom is a saint, and she tells them that she figures out what bad things Kim has done by reading her diary. Lindsay's parents decide to read her diary, and they realize that she thinks of them as stereotypical robots. Lindsay is not allowed to hang out with Kim anymore, making Kim angry at her.
